New Year, New You?

We made it through 2023! Sincerely, I hope it was much more than just surviving for you! But I can TOTALLY relate if you were glad to see last year out the door, changed the locks, your phone number, and filed a restraining order.

Here’s the thing; How can we take what happened last year, learn from it, and apply it going forward? Sometimes, there’s not much any of us can do in the moment, but in hindsight, there is so much to gain, even from very painful experiences. We just need to be willing to look at ourselves humbly in the light of truth, have grace, and a little grit. “In DIY as in life,” as they say. Alright, I am the ONLY one that says that. But just because something didn’t go according to plan, doesn’t mean it doesn’t have some value. I think we all need to flip the negatives to positives in our thinking, and try again, a little wiser than before.

Let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work, together, on making something better for, and of, ourselves in 2024! Leave a comment below and let me know what kind of projects you have planned for this year, or what you would like to see from me. Thank you for being part of this journey!
